About the owner
Heather joins the ranks of mothers around the world who are finding their athletic potential after having a child. After graduating as conference champion in both track and cross country with academic All-American honors from Alderson Broaddus college in Philippi, WV, Heather has found her running moments very recently in the marathon world and continuing to run in local road races.
Heather is well involved in the running community- from hosting group runs, coaching youth clubs, and hosting/directing five races in
Morgantown and one in Bridgeport.

Morgantown Running's History
August 2009: Morgantown Running was established and opened by Erin and Kevin Roush in Westover, WV
November 2010: Morgantown Running moved to the Seneca Center in Morgantown, WV
January 2012: Morgantown Running was purchased and under the new ownership of Sean and Heather McDaniel Cleary
December 2021: Morgantown Running expanded and opened a sister store in Bridgeport, WV offering two great locations in north central West Virginia
